Your first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation where we get to know you, understand what brought you in, and explore your goals for therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say, just come as you are.
We help match you with a therapist based on your needs, preferences, and goals. You’re welcome to request someone specific or ask for guidance. The most important part is feeling comfortable and understood.
Yes. We offer a free consultation to answer your questions, discuss your needs, and make sure it feels like a good fit before starting therapy.

Sessions & Logistics

Most sessions are 50 minutes. Longer sessions may be available upon request or depending on your treatment plan.
Yes. We provide secure online therapy sessions so you can receive support from anywhere in California.
Most clients attend weekly or biweekly, especially in the beginning. You and your therapist will decide what schedule best supports your goals.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients come for short-term support, while others continue longer for deeper, long-term growth. We tailor the length of treatment to your needs and pace.

Fees, Payment, and Insurance

We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill upon request.

Availability may be limited, depending on the therapist’s schedule. Feel free to inquire, we want therapy to be as accessible as possible.
We accept debit/credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and other common forms of payment. All payments are processed securely.

Yes. We offer therapy for teens, emerging adults, adults, couples, and specific populations such as first responders.
Our therapists use evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Humanistic/Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed approaches, and Positive Psychology. Your treatment is always personalized.
Absolutely. Your privacy is protected by law. We only break confidentiality if required for safety reasons, such as risk of harm to self or others, or mandated reporting situations.

Practical Questions

Many people feel this way at first. That’s why we offer a free consultation, to explore your questions and help you decide if therapy is a good fit.
That is completely normal. Your therapist will guide the conversation. Simply showing up is enough.
We ask for 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may be charged a fee. Your therapist will review the policy with you during scheduling.
A strong therapeutic relationship is essential. If something doesn’t feel right, we welcome open communication and will gladly help you find a therapist who better fits your needs.
